Israel J. Mantecon, MD

General Cardiology

Dr. Israel J. Mantecon is a cardiologist with over 30 years of cardiology experience. He completed his medical degree at Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Mantecon went on to complete his internal medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital and a cardiology fellowship at Seton Hall University. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Mantecon has held numerous leadership positions, including Chief of Staff and Chair of the Department of Cardiology at Orlando Health. He has been instrumental in developing various programs at Dr. P. Philips Hospital including STEMI, Chest Pain Center and CHF programs. His research experience includes serving as principal investigator or sub-investigator on over a dozen major cardiology clinical trials.
