Dr. Jose A. Lefran is a board-certified cardiologist based in Orlando, FL, with over 25 years of experience. He attended the University of Juarez School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Seton Hall University. Dr. Lefran has served as Vice Chief of Cardiology at Orlando Health, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. He is an active clinical researcher, having participated in major pharmaceutical trials for heart attack and heart failure treatments. Dr. Lefran has expertise in nuclear cardiology and maintains board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

I moved to Florida a few months ago and wanted to establish connections_relationships with New Physicians. Dr. LeFran’s name was among “3” that were recommended. The choice was EASY because he had the Best Credentials, Experience and Highly Recommended By Colleagues and Patients. The timeline to see him was not long; typically standard for a new patient. MY visit was not due to any specific Heart Conditions or Problems; simply due to Preventative Measures and Examinations to ensure HeartHealth is Good! And establish a relationship with him_to have a Good Cardiologist among My Doctors for routine checkups and IF it is necessary. Dr. LeFran suggested certain examinations and tests; and a follow up appointment afterwards. He answered ALL my questions and concerns. Discussed prior medical history to better understand past and present healthcare and conditions. I did not feel RUSHED, nor was he RUSHING to see the Next Patient.
