Pavel A. Guguchev, MD, FACC, FHRS

Cardiac Electrophysiology

Dr. Pavel Guguchev is a Cardiac Electrophysiology specialist with over 34 years of service in the medical field. He began practice in Orlando, Florida in 2000 and has extensive experience in implantation and management of cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, catheter ablations, diagnostic electrophysiology testing, and management of patients with arrhythmias. He graduated from Ivan Pavlov Higher Institute of Medicine in 1988 and completed his fellowship in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 2000. He is board-certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also certified in Invasive Electrophysiology and Cardiac Pacing by the European Heart Rhythm Association. Dr. Guguchev has served as Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at Orlando Regional Medical Center and as principal investigator in multiple clinical studies of novel treatments of cardiac arrhythmias. Over his 23 years of practice in Orlando, he has developed a reputation as an exceptional interventional electrophysiologist, competent physician, and caring patient advocate.
