Professional Background
Dr. Farshid Daneshvar is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He is also a Diplomate of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Daneshvar is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, served as Chief Medical Resident, and subsequently completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Northwell Health/Hofstra School of Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Daneshvar served as a Teaching Associate at Hofstra School of Medicine, where he instructed medical students and resident physicians. He also served as a Simulation Laboratory Instructor, helping train internal medicine and emergency medicine residents in the management of complex clinical scenarios.Dr. Daneshvar has presented and published multiple research projects at local, national, and international scientific meetings and in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Daneshvar provides comprehensive cardiovascular care ranging from preventive cardiology and advanced cardiovascular imaging to complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
