Hafiz Hussain, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI

Dr. Hafiz Hussain is a distinguished interventional cardiologist practicing in Lake Mary and Sanford, Florida. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida and is actively involved in teaching and training new physicians. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University. He completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center, a general cardiology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, and an additional fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at NYU Winthrop Hospital. He specializes in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, and vascular and structural heart interventions. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).

He served as chief medical resident and chief cardiology fellow and has earned many awards, including Best Resident and Best Teaching Resident. He was named one of the top cardiologists by _Orlando Family Magazine_. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and dozens of research presentations at national meetings.
